Editorial Policy
This policy explains how the guides on the Same Day Diplomas blog are written, sourced, reviewed and kept up to date.
Who writes our guides
Every guide is written by the Same Day Diplomas Editorial Team, our in-house writing team. The byline at the top of each guide names the team that wrote it.
How guides are reviewed
Before a guide is published, the Same Day Diplomas Reviewer Team checks it. The reviewer is never the person who wrote the draft. Reviewers confirm facts, dates and requirements against the sources cited, test every outside link, compare product details with what we actually sell, and make sure the guide is clear about what our documents are and are not. We only list a reviewer on a guide that was actually reviewed.
How we choose and cite sources
When a guide covers official records, rules or requirements, we rely on the organization responsible for them, such as the issuing school or district, GED Testing Service (GED.com), a state department of education, or the National Student Clearinghouse. We link to those sources in the guide and do not present general guidance as legal or academic advice. For anything that depends on a specific school or state, we tell readers to confirm with that school or agency directly.
Official records first
If you need a document for employment, enrollment, licensing, immigration or any other official purpose, you need a record issued by your school or testing service. Our guides point you to that official route first and explain how to request it.
Updates and corrections
Each guide shows the date it was first published. When we make a meaningful change, such as new requirements, a changed process, broken links or updated product details, the guide is reviewed again and an Updated date appears in the byline. If we find a factual error, we fix it promptly. If you spot something that is wrong or out of date, please tell us through our contact page and we will look into it.
Independence
Same Day Diplomas is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any school, college, university, testing service or government agency mentioned in our guides. School names and logos are used only to describe the documents a customer asks us to recreate.
About our products
Same Day Diplomas makes novelty and replica diplomas, transcripts and certificates, and yes, people often call them fake diplomas. Our products are made for keepsakes, display, gifts, film and stage props, and personal records such as replacing a lost or damaged copy for your wall. Our products are never official credentials: our products are not issued by any school, college, university or testing service, and our products cannot be used as proof of education. Our signatures are made up, and we do not reproduce real people's signatures.
